Summary: The Michigan Department of Management and Budget was experiencing profuse leakage intermittently on the majority of their buildings throughout multiple complexes. These leaks were dealt with as they arose with repairs, rather than having a prioritized plan. They wanted a comprehensive evaluation that would delineate on the construction and the conditions of all of their roofs, as well as the best solutions for their roofing needs. StructureTec performed an infrared StructureScan survey in order to benchmark the status of all of their roofs. This information was used to prioritize repairs and replacements into a long-range program. This process also revealed warranty related issues on newer roofs. The information provided helped the owner to take recourse with the roofing manufacturer.
